Coffee shop

Our coffee shop is open from 9.00am until 3pm, Monday to Friday, serving freshly ground coffee, tea, hot chocolate and soft drinks.  We have a range of sandwiches, paninis, cakes and cream teas to be in enjoyed in our dining room or to be taken away.

Our Shop

The charity shop is open Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm and Saturday 9am – 12 noon.  We welcome donations of good quality clothing, homeware, bric a brac and electrical items.  Why not come in one morning have a cup of coffee and have a browse in the shop?

Unfortunately our usual lunch service is unavailable due to COVID restrictions and we don’t foresee being able to provide it again until we have a vaccine available.  We have partially open the centre now and are serving hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, paninis, soup, cakes and cream teas in a coffee shop style setting where we can safely follow COVID regulations to keep everyone safe.  So do pop in and enjoy tea and cake or a spot of lunch with us.

Unfortunately all our events and outings are cancelled due to COVID restrictions but we let members know when we can start going out and about again.

This is a service for our members attending appointments at hospitals, health centres, dentists, chiropodists or opticians who are unable to provide their own transport.  We have a team of lovely volunteer drivers who kindly give their time to drive members to appointments.  We ask for as much notice as possible for booking but ideally at least 48 hours.  There is a list of charges available in the office and you can call the office on 01273 844461 to book a driver.

We have a couple of wheelchairs available to hire for a donation to the centre.  Please ask in the office for details.

Elaine is offering hairdressing in our salon at the centre Monday to Wednesday.  She can be contacted to book appointments on 01273 844093 during office hours.

Chiropody appointments are available Monday to Friday with Paul, appointments cost £29 (from 16th November) and can be booked in person or his direct number which is 01273 855760.
